Deanery Garden, Sonning. Designed by Mr Edwin Lutyens
Country Life magazine dated May 9th 1903 featuring a main article titled 'Houses for People with Hobbies - Deanery Garden, Sonning in Berkshire'. Mr Lutyens with Gertrude Jekyll never designed a more perfect house or charming garden, the house was designed and built by Mr Lutyens, and garden was laid out by Lutyens and planted by garden designer Gertrude Jekyll, with a ten page write up with black and white illustrations of the property exterior, grounds, gardens, interior, decor and furnishings. This issue is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Lady Cecil Scott Montagu.
