An original very early issue of Country Life magazine dated April 9th 1910 featuring a main article on New Place, Shedfield in Hampshire, The Seat of Mr. Arden Franklyn. Commissioned by Mrs Franklyn in 1904, designed and completed by the architect Mr Edwin Lutyens in 1906 in a Jacobethan style. Containing a nine page write up on the house with black and white photograph illustrations of the property and interior. This issue is in good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of The Hon. Margaret Fraser.
