Upton House, Warwickshire (Part 1) The Seat of Viscount Bearsted
Original issue of Country Life magazine dated September 5th 1936 featuring a main article on Upton House in Warwickshire (Part 1 of 2) The Seat of Viscount Bearsted. The house was enlarged and re-modelled in 1927 by Mr Morley Horder. This issue contains a six page write up on the history of the house including black and white photograph illustrations of the exterior and garden including the north front before alteration, the interior, decoration, furnishings and a ground floor plan. This magazine is in very good condition with a portrait frontispiece of Miss Helena Perrott.
