Original rare war-time issue of Country Life magazine for December 7th 1940 featuring a main article on Sudeley Castle (Part-3) in Gloucestershire, The Seat of Major J. H. Dent-Brocklehurst. The Castle was was built by Ralph Boteler in the mid-fifteenth century. This issue contains a five page write up including black and white illustrations of the Castle interior, decor and furnishings. This magazine is in very good condition with a portrait frontispiece of Miss Suzanne Houssemayne Du Boulay.
