Shockerwick House, Bathford

Original antique pencil drawing on paper of Shockerwick House in Somerset from a collection of drawings by Charles J Greenwood and Frederick Peake produced between 1840-1850. Inscribed 'Shockerwick, Somerset'. A view of the house with fields and trees in the foreground. Good condition, (see images). Size 26 x 17cm. 

Shockerwick is Grade I listed, built in 1750 by John Wood. The house was considerably altered in 1896 by Ernest George and Alfred B. Yeates.
