Queens Tower in Yorkshire

Original pencil drawing on paper of Queens Tower in Sheffield, from a collection of drawings by Charles Greenwood and Frederick Peake produced between 1840 and 1850. Inscribed 'Queens Tower, Yorkshire, no subscriber for', dated 1848. Pencil, heightened with white water colour. Some creases and tears to edges, otherwise generally good condition (see images). Queen's Tower was named after Mary Queen of Scots, designed by Woodhead & Hurst, built for Samuel Roberts and completed in 1839.
