The British Embassy, Washington (Part 2)

An original issue of Country Life magazine dated January 21st 1939 featuring a main article on The British Embassy in Washington, USA, (Part 2). An important work by Sir Edwin Lutyens completed in 1930 for Sir Ronald Lindsay to take up residence. A five page write up with black and white illustrations of the interior, furnishings and decorations. This issue is in very good condition with a portrait frontispiece of the Hon. Elizabeth Blades.
