An original very early issue of Country Life magazine dated August 31st 1901 featuring a main article on Orchards in Surrey, designed by Mr Edwin Lutyens in the Arts & Crafts Style for Mr William Chance. With an eight page write up with black and white illustrations of the house (interior and exterior) and gardens by Miss Gertrude Jekyll. This issue is in good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Lady Beatrice Pretyman and her Children.
