An original issue of Country Life magazine dated December 12th 1931 featuring a main article on Longford Castle (part-1) in Wiltshire, the seat of the Earl of Radnor, built on a triangular plan from the design by John Thorpe for Thomas Gorges. With a seven page write up with black and white illustrations of the property exterior, garden and grounds. Also featuring a two page illustrated article on Legh Manor, near Cuckfield, Sussex, with alterations by Sir Edwin Lutyens, R. A. This magazine is in very good condition with a portrait frontispiece of Miss Patricia Richards.
