West Bitchfield, The Home of Mr C. E. Pumphrey

An original war-time issue of Country Life magazine dated September 28th 1940 featuring a main article on West Bitchfield and the late Medieval Pele Tower. A five page write up on the history of the property containing black and white illustrations of the building and tower exteriors, interior, decor and furniture. This issue is in good condition with a portrait frontispiece of Mrs David Niven.
