Wardes at Otham (now Otham Manor), The Seat of Lady Juliet Trevor

An original issue of Country Life magazine dated August 30th 1919 featuring a main article on Wardes at Otham in Kent, the Seat of Lady Juliet Trevor. Now known as Otham Manor.  Containing a comprehensive ten page write up on the history of the house restored by Sir Louis Mallet with additions added from designs by Mr Hubert Bensted, F.R.I.B.A, with black and white photograph illustrations of the house and gardens (including interior views of recent work by Philip Tilden and details of the 14th century hall and a ground plan). This issue is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of The Hon. Mrs Rachel Lyttelton. Rare.
