Torilla (Nast Hyde), Hatfield, designed by F. R. S. Yorke
Country Life magazine dated March 14th 1936 featuring an article on A Lesser Country house 'A Modern House', Torilla (Nast Hyde) in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, designed and built by Architect, Mr. F. R. S. Yorke in 1934, with a three page write up including black and white illustrations of the house interior, exterior. This magazine is in good condition with a portrait frontispiece of Miss Helen Trefusis.
Torilla (Nast Hyde) was a modernist house built in 1934 by Mr. F. R. S. Yorke, the house was specifically designed as a complete contrast with the house next door 'Great Nast Hyde' which is an Elizabethan house. Torilla is now a Grade II listed building.
