Country Life magazine for July 27th 1935  featuring a main article on Thornton Abbey in Lincolnshire, the property of The Earl of Yarborough, a six page write up including black and white photographic illustrations of the abbey exterior, grounds and ground floor plan of the gate-house and its wing walls. This issue is in very good condition and features a portrait frontispiece of Lady Daphne and Mr. Whitney Straight.
