An original issue of Country Life magazine featuring a main article on The Town Hall in Liverpool, designed by John Wood of Bath in 1749. Contains an eight page feature by Professor C. H. Reilly illustrated throughout with black and white photographs including exterior views of the building and interior including The Ballroom, The Dining Room, The Small Ballroom, Reception room, The Grand Staircase, The Dome, and furniture. Also included in the magazine an article on St. George's Hall, Liverpool by the Professor with illustrations of the exterior and interior of the building. This issue is in very good condition with a frontispiece of Lord Derby's Eclipse stakes winner, Colorado.
