The Palace of Mogosoaia, The Home of Princess Marthe Bibesco

An original war-time issue of Country Life magazine dated April 6th 1940 featuring a main article on The Palace of Mogosoaia in Romania. Built by Venetian craftsmen for Constantin Bassarab Brancoban between 1698-1702. With a five page write up containing black and white illustrations of the Palace, exterior, interior, furnishings and decor. This issue is in good condition with a portrait frontispiece of The Right Hon. Sir Kingsley Wood at the air ministry.
