An original very early issue of Country Life magazine dated April 6th 1901 featuring a main article on Stourhead in Wiltshire. A seven page write up on the history of Stourhead with black and white photographs of the house, gardens and grounds including images of the 'Pater Amnis' of The Stour, The Sylvan Vesture of the Stourhead Hill, The Woodland Temple, The Nymph of the Grot and more. This issue is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Mrs Dighton Probyn.
