Shillinglee Park, The Seat of Earl Winterton
Original issue of Country Life magazine dated August 8th 1936 featuring a main article on Shillinglee Park in Sussex, The Seat of Earl Winterton, a Georgian house built for Edward Turnour by Thomas Steel of Chichester in 1735. This issue contains a six page write up including black and white photograph illustrations of the exterior and garden, the interior, decor and furnishings. This magazine is in very good condition with a portrait frontispiece of Lady Evelyn Courtenay.
