An original very early issue of Country Life magazine dated July 21st 1900 featuring a main article on Rockingham Castle in Northamptonshire. A six page write up on the history of the castle with black and white photograph illustrations of the property and gardens. This issue has an extensive write up with pictures of the castle, the gardens old and new, the dovecote, upper garden, the north entrance and more. The magazine is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Miss Barnby.
