Pains Hill, The Residence of Mrs Cushny
An original very early issue of Country Life magazine dated March 19th 1904 featuring a main article on Painshill in Surrey, 8 page write up with black and white illustrations of the property and gardens. Country Life Magazine commenced publication in 1897 and these early issues have become highly collectable and a valuable reference to the house owners of today, architects, restorers and renovators and anyone interested in the history of the building. They have an extensive write up with pictures of the building (interior and exterior) and garden as it was over 100 years ago. This issue is in good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Mrs Gregor Macgregor.
