Oddington House, The Home of Major Harry Talbot Rice

An original war-time issue of Country Life magazine dated August 17th 1940 featuring a main article on Oddington House in Gloucestershire, The home of Major Harry Talbot Rice, an older house, formerly the seat of the Chamberlayne's, was remodelled and enlarged Circa 1810 by Lady Reade, widow of Sir John Reade of Shipton.  Four page write up containing black and white phtogograph illustrations of the house interior and exterior. This issue is in good condition with a portrait frontispiece of Mrs. D. R. Duff.
