Normanton Park, The Seat of the Earl of Ancaster
An original very early issue of Country Life magazine dated February 8th 1913 featuring a main article on Normanton House and Park in Rutland, the Seat of The Earl of Ancaster, with an eight page write up containing black and white photograph illustrations of the house (exterior and interior, including furnishings, fittings and paintings), gardens and a plan. This issue is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Miss Catherine Boscawen.
In 1924 the contents of Normation Park were auctioned off and later the house was demolished, this issue contains images of the furnishings, decor and paintings before they were removed from the house.
