Matfield House, Brenchley, the Property of Mr Walter Marchant

Original Country Life magazine dated September 14th 1935 featuring a main article on Matfield House in Kent (a Georgian House built by Thomas and Mary Marchant in 1728), with a six page write up by Arthur Oswald including black and white photographic illustrations of house exterior and stables, interior and furnishings. This issue is in good condition with a portrait frontispiece of Captain and Lady Blancve Cobbold with their eldest son and daughter.
