Manorbier Castle, The Property of Sir John Philipps, Bt

An original issue of Country Life magazine dated for September 23rd 1939 featuring a main article on Manorbier Castle in Pembrokeshire, Wales. With a five page write up including black and white photograph illustrations of the castle exterior, the gatehouse and drawbridge and the modern cottage. This magazine is in good condition with a portrait frontispiece of General Sir Edmund Ironside and Lady Ironside and two of their Bull-Terriers.
