Leez Priory, The Seat of M E Hughes-Hughes

An original very early issue of Country Life Magazine dated April 4th 1914 featuring a main article on Leez Priory in Essex, a comprehensive eight page write up by Charlotte Fell Smith with black and white photographic illustrations of the priory and gardens including views of the eastern gatehouse and inner courtyard, south gatehouse and western wing, interior and plan. This issue is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Miss F. Hayward.
