Leeds Castle, (Part 2) The Seat of The Hon. Lady Baillie

An original very early issue of Country Life magazine dated 5th December 1936, featuring a main article on Leeds Castle (Part 2) in Kent, the Seat of Sir Adrian and The Hon. Lady Baillie.  A comprehensive seven page write up on the history of the house with black and white photographs.  Good example of John Webb's panelling work is shown in some of the photographs of the drawing room. This issue is in good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of The Hon. Lavinia Strutt upon her engagement to the Duke of Norfolk.
