Lane House, The Box at Minchinhampton designed by Edward Playne, Architect

Original issue of Country Life magazine dated April 29th 1939 featuring an illustrated article on Lane House, The Box, Minchinhampton in Gloucestershire 'A Modern House in the Cotswolds', built for Sir Quintin and Lady Hill by the Architect Edward Playne.  A two page write up containing black and white illustrations of the house exterior and interior and a plan of the ground and first floors. This magazine is in very good condition with a portrait frontispiece of Lady Barbara Lindsay.
