Lainston House, the Seat of Mr Samuel Bostock

An original very early issue of Country Life Magazine dated March 8th 1919 featuring a main article on Lainston House near Winchester in Hampshire, eight page write up on the history of the house with black and white photograph illustrations of the property exterior and interior, the gardens, old chapel and a general plan of the garden. Also featuring an article on No. 19 Grosvenor Square, London (Part 2). A two page feature with black and white illustrations of the interior and decor of the London house.  This issue is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Mrs Geoffrey Colman.
