Country Life magazine dated April 1st 1905 featuring a main article on Howsham Hall in Yorkshire, the Residence of Mr H. W. Cholmley, containing a three page write up on the history of the Hall with black and white illustrations of the property and gardens. Also containing an illustrated article on Samlesbury Hall in Lancashire featuring illustrations of the exterior and interior of the property.  This issue is in good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Lady Violet Elliot.
