An original very early issue of Country Life magazine dated February 27th 1926 featuring a main article on Hazelbury Manor in Wiltshire (Part 2 of 2), the residence of Mr George J Kidston who acquired the property in 1919 and carried out extensive restoration work to the house and gardens. This issue contains a seven page write up with black and white illustrations of the manor house and interior. Country Life magazine commenced publication in 1897 and these early issues have become highly collectable and a valuable reference to the house owners of today, architects, restorers, renovators and historians. They have an extensive write up with pictures of the building (interior and exterior) and garden as it was at that time. This issue is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Lady Greenwood and her Sons.
