Country Life magazine dated September 18th 1942 featuring a main article on The Gardens at Hascombe Court, Godalming in Surrey. The residence of Sir John Jarvis, Bt. Gardens designed and laid out by Gertrude Jekyll in 1922.  This issue contains a four page write up on the gardens with black and white photograph illustrations of the Jekyll's garden designs. The magazine is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Miss Virginia Gilliat.
