Hamstead Village (Part-2)
An original early issue of Country Life magazine dated July 16th 1943 featuring a main article on Hampstead Village, London (Part-2). Four page write up with black and white illustrations of the houses in the village of Hamstead, including: 'Wentworth Place, St. Mary's, Holly Place, a corner of Regency Hamstead, St. John's Church, No. 6 Downshire Hill, Hunters Lodge, Cottages in Prospect Place overlooking the churchyard, the old pump room in Well Walk, Romney's House and Studio, Holly Bush Hill and one of a pair of bow-fronted houses in Keats Grove,'. This issue is in very good condition with a portrait frontispiece of Lady Lovat.
