Hammerfield, the Seat of Lord Ronald Sutherland-Gower

An original very early issue of Country Life magazine dated Februray 16th 1901 featuring a main article on Hammerfield at Penshurst (originally called Culver Hill) in Kent, the residence of the author and sculptor Lord Ronald Sutherland-Gower. Five page write up with black and white illustrations of the house and gardens. This issue is in good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Mrs J Blundell Leigh.
