Friar Park (The Alpine Garden), The Residence of Mr. Frank Crisp
An original very early issue of Country Life magazine dated July 29th 1905 featuring a main article on 'The Alpine Garden' at Friars Park, Henley-On-Thames in Oxfordshire, the residence of Mr. Frank Crisp. Containing a seven page write up with many black and white illustrations of the rocks and rills, water-lillies, rocky pathways, the edge of the pool, the alps in little, pinks in the rock garden and at a rock edge. This issue is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Mrs. W. H. Pawson and her son.
