Flete House, The Seat of Lt. Col. Francis Mildmay M.P.

An original very early issue of Country Life magazine dated November 20th 1915 featuring a main article on Flete House in the parish of Holbeton, Devonshire, The Seat of LT. Col. Francis Mildmay. M.P,. Remodelled and extended by the Architect Richard Norman Shaw R.A in 1878 for Henry Bingham Mildmay. A nine page write up on the history of Flete with black and white illustrations of the house interior, decor and furnishings, a ground floor plan of Flete, the exterior and the grounds. This issue is complete with house adverts and full original covers, in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Lady Mary Hamilton.
