Dorton House, The Seat of Sir Henry Aubrey Fletcher, Bt

An original very early issue of Country Life magazine dated April 9th 1904 featuring a main article on Dorton House near Thame in Buckinghamshire, containing a three page write up on the History of Dorton with black and white illustrations of the property and gardens. Country Life magazine commenced publication in 1897.  The early issues have an extensive write up with pictures of the building (interior and exterior) and garden as it was over 100 years ago. This issue is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Lady Borthwick.
