Carton (Part-2), The Seat of the Duke of Leinster

Original issue of Country Life magazine dated November 14th 1936 featuring a main article on Carton House Part-2, County Kildare, Ireland, The Seat of The Duke of Leinster, with a six page write up including black and white illustratrations of the house interior, decor and furnishings including the saloon ceiling by Paul and Philip Franchini, 1739, the chinese bedroom and pastel portraits by Hamilton of The Second Duke and his Duchess Miss Emilia St. George.  This magazine is in very good condition with a  portrait frontispiece of The Marchioness of Kildare.
