Carter's Grove, The Seat of Mr. Archibald McCrea

An original issue of Country Life magazine dated December 30th 1933 featuring a main article on Carter's Grove, Virginia, USA, the seat of Mr. Archibald McCrea, built in 1751 by a Viginian planter Carter Burwell, who employed an English surveyor, David Minitree to design his house. With a six page write up with black and white illustrations of the house interior, exterior, decor, furnishings and a plan of the house before alterations. This magazine is in very good condition with a portrait frontispiece of The Hon. Magdalene Fraser.
