An original very early issue of Country Life magazine dated January 26th 1907 featuring a main article on Burton Constable Hall in Yorkshire, The Seat of Mr. Raleigh Chichester-Constable. Containing a seven page write up with many black and white illustrations of the hall (exterior and interior) and the gardens. Country Life Magazine commenced publication in 1897 and the early issues have become a valuable reference to the house owners of today, architects, restorers, renovators and historians. This issue is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Lady Ursula Grosvenor.
