Broome Park, Canterbury. The Property of Mr C. G. Jell
An original issue of Country Life magazine dated November 11th 1939 featuring a main illutrated article on Broome Park in Canterbury, Kent. The Property of Mr G. C. Jell. Broome was built by Sir Basil Dixwell between 1635 and 1639. Alterations and remodelling was carried out by Detmar Blow and Fernand Billerey for Lord Kitchener in 1911. A five page write up including black and white photograph illustrations of the exterior, interior and decoration. This magazine is in good condition with a portrait frontispiece of Mrs John Christian.
