Bishopthorpe, York, the Seat of the Archbishop of York

Original issue of Country Life magazine dated January 12th 1929 featuring a main article on Bishopthorpe, a manor house built about 1245 with alterations made in the 15th and 17th century including work by the Architect Mr Peter Atkinson, a seven page write up including black and white illustrations of the manor house exterior, interior, rooms and decoration. This magazine is in good condition with a portrait frontispiece of the Duke of Beaufort, M. F. H.
