An original very early issue of Country Life Magazine dated October 21st 1899 featuring a main article on Battle Abbey, Sussex, The Seat of The Duchess of Cleverland, with a seven page write up including black and white illustrations of the property exterior and grounds. This issue is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of the final of Lady Evelyn Crichton.
