An original very early issue of Country Life magazine dated September 2nd 1899 featuring a main article on Althelhampton Hall in Dorchester, Dorset, The Seat of Mr. A. C. Lafontaine, with a six page write up with black and white illustrations of the property and gardens. The first visit by Country Life to Athelhampton Hall documented in detail in this issue which is in good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Mrs George Keppel.
