An original very early issue of Country Life magazine dated April 20th 1918 featuring a main article on Allington Castle in Kent (Part 1). The Residence of Sir Martin Conway. A six page write up with black and white photographic illustrations of the castle and gardens. Allington Castle was restored by Sir Martin Conway (1st Baron Conway of Allington).  This issue is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of The Hon. Mrs McNaughton.
