Aldby Park, the Seat of Lt-Col Geoffrey Darley, D.S.O

Original Country Life magazine dated November 9th 1935 featuring a main article on Aldby Park in Yorkshire, with a five page write up on the history of Aldby by Christopher Hussey including black and white photographic illustrations of house exterior, interior and furnishings. Also a further two page illustrated article on the Darley Arabian and other horse portrait paintings at Aldby by C. M. Prior. This issue is in very good condition, complete with original covers and adverts and with a portrait frontispiece of Miss F. M. Royds.
