This one being a view of Huntroyd Hall (Huntroyde) in Lancashire, The seat of Le Gendre Nicholas Starkie, Esq. Lithographed by Robert Groom and Printed by J. C. Greenwood. Published in 1846. Image size approx 25 x 17cm. Titled within a decorative border. Rare. Very good condition.
Huntroyde Hall was built in 1576 for Edmund Starkie, Esq father of Nicholas Starkie. In the 1970's most of the hall was demolished. This is one of two views of the hall available from the same series, this view being a closer view of the house with cattle in the foreground.
