A fine antique engraved print illustrating Cotton Works, near Holywell in Flintshire. Engraved by W. Walts from the drawing by J. Ingleby for Sir Richard Colt Hoare. Published by J & J Boydell, London and dated 1792. Image size 18 x 13 with good margins (overall print size 26 x 19cm). Excellent condition.

Sir Richard Colt Hoare (1758-1838) was descended from Sir Richard Hoare, Lord Mayor of London and Founder of the banking business C. Hoare & Co. He lived at Stourhead in Wiltshire and was an archeaologist and artist.
