Original antique pencil drawing on paper of Meldon Park in Northumberland from a collection of drawings by Charles Greenwood and Frederick Peake produced between 1840-1850. Inscribed 'Meldon Hall, Isaac Cookson, Esq, Northumberland'. A distant view of the mansion with woodland and livestock in the foreground. Pencil, heightened with brown water colour and shading. Very good condition (see images). Size 31 x 22.5cm. Meldon Park (Grade II listed) was designed by the architect John Dobson and built for Isaac Cookson, Esq, completed in 1835 and remodelled by Edwin Lutyens in the 20th Century.
