Cresswell Hall

Antique pencil drawing on paper of Cresswell Hall in Northumberland from a collection of drawings by Charles J Greenwood and Frederick Peake produced between 1840-1850. Inscribed 'Cresswell, Cresswell, Esq. Northumberland'. A view of Cresswell Hall with the sea and ships in the background. Pencil, heightened with white and blue watercolour. Good condition (see images). Size 31 x 22.5cm. Cresswell Hall was demolished in the 1930's, the stables that remain are Grade II listed.
