Midford Castle (Part 1), The Home of Mr H. Whately

An original back issue of Country Life magazine dated March 3rd 1944 featuring a main article on Midford Castle in Somerset (Part 1) The home of Mr H. Whately, containing a four page write up with black and white illustrations of the castle exterior, grounds and plans. Midford Castle was Built in 1775 probabaly after designs by John Carter. This issue is in good condition with a portrait frontispiece of Lady Margaret Dawnay.
