Arley Hall, the Residence of Mr Piers Egerton-Warburton

An original very early issue of Country Life magazine dated December 24th 1904 featuring a main article on Arley Hall in Cheshire, The Residence of Mr Piers Egerton-Warburton. The Hall was designed and built by George Latham and the chapel which is close to the house was designed by Anthony Salvin. This magazine contains a seven page write up with many black and white illustrations of the property and gardens.  The issue is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of The Countess Cairns and Her Daughters.
